Here is the latest designs for Peter’s Kettle Corn. The original logo design was created in 2007, back when gradients and detailed illustrations were still a thing. Since then, we’ve moved into a flat and minimalistic approach to be more recognizable and appealing to a wider audience.
The logo is set in 2 colors, a burnt orange and a nice warm brown that complements all the flavors PKC has to offer. The simplicity of the kettle corn machine can easily be converted into outlines for use in stamps and one color applications.
Due to the project’s limited budget, we didn’t have the luxury to design variations of the bag with different flavors, but instead had to come up with a solution to accommodate the 30 flavors they had. The other challenge was that PKC allowed their customers to have a mix of up to 6 flavors per bag. Pretty cool for their customers but what a nightmare for me! Haha. Kidding aside, we were able to come up with a solution. 3×1 stickers. I allotted the back side of the package space for up to (6) 3″x1″ sticker labels.
They should be going to print soon. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
